BUNGEE FITNESS

Bungee Fitness is low impact, motion-based resistance training program - referred to as a bio predictable workout system. It is designed to complement the way your body moves. The bungee gives you the buoyancy to perform exercise you might not be able to perform without assistance - no paint on joint! 
You are suspended from harness with feet still able to touch the ground. 
It doesn't matter how old or young you are or what shape you are currently in, the principles work the same for all body types.

About the Exercise

Bungee fitness offers a unique, low-impact workout that combines cardio and strength training while reducing strain on the joints, making it an ideal choice for maintaining long-term physical health. This program is designed to support the body through resistance from bungee cords attached to ceiling anchors, allowing for a wide range of movement with minimised impact. The tension from the bungee harness provides both support and challenge, enabling participants to engage in high-intensity exercises like squats, lunges, and jumps without overloading the knees and hips.

 

Much like suspension training systems, bungee fitness challenges stability and balance, activating core muscles as well as smaller stabiliser muscles that often go unworked in traditional workouts. By maintaining stability on the bungee cords, participants improve coordination and strengthen the core, building endurance and promoting functional strength across the entire body. This makes bungee fitness accessible and beneficial for people of all ages and fitness levels, as the cord’s support allows individuals to safely explore movements and intensities that suit their needs and abilities.

 

Beyond physical benefits, bungee fitness introduces an element of play and freedom, allowing participants to ‘fly’ through movements that would otherwise be challenging on solid ground. The bounce and buoyancy created by the cords make each session engaging and dynamic, lifting participants both physically and mentally, creating a sense of accomplishment and joy with each class.
